This module equips you with critical research skills and methodologies, including surveys, statistical analysis, interviews, and bibliographical techniques in law. You will gain hands‑on training in accessing reliable resources, applying ethical research practices, and developing advanced analytical and critical thinking abilities.Through workshops and active learning, you’ll strengthen transferable skills for your LLM dissertation and future professional or academic career.
This module supports students in preparing and submitting a Master’s stage research project in international business/commercial law. It develops advanced academic mastery through independent inquiry, critical analysis, ethical awareness, and clear academic writing. Guided by a supervisor, students explore a chosen topic in depth, aligning research with academic interests and career goals.

Study Method

This is a 100% online programme delivered by The Anglia Ruskin University. Learning includes structured asynchronous content, guided readings, and supervised independent research, all supported by the university’s virtual learning environment. Assessment mix:

Entry Requirements

  • Qualifi Level 7 Diploma in International Business Law (including the International Commercial Arbitration unit).
  • Applicants without a Level 7 Diploma but holding significant managerial experience will be provided an alternative accelerated pathway on a case-by-case basis.
  • Applicants who wish to complete a Postgraduate Diploma to gain entry to the LLM Top-Up can do so here: Qualifi Level 7 Diploma in International Business Law (including the International Commercial Arbitration unit)
