Our Affiliate Centres Are the Heartbeat of What We Do
“A British degree delivered from London means nothing if nobody on the ground knows how to reach the students who need it most.”
- The founding belief behind the Chestnut Affiliate Centre model
At Chestnut Education Group, we have always believed that the best education partnerships are built on local trust — not global assumptions. It is a conviction that shaped every decision we have made since 2017, and it is the reason our Affiliate Centre model sits at the very centre of everything we do.
We are the largest distributor of UK higher education online courses across MENA and South Asia. But that reach did not come from a London office alone. It came from the network of trusted, community-embedded education partners we have built across four continents — people who know their learners, understand their markets, and share our belief that access to quality British education is a right, not a privilege.
More than a distribution network
The phrase “distribution network” does not come close to capturing what our Affiliate Centres actually are. That framing suggests logistics — moving a product from one place to another. What our Affiliate Centres do is far more human, and far more complex than that.
They are the bridge between a globally credible British qualification and a genuinely local student experience. They are the reason a working professional in Karachi knows that a Chestnut pathway exists. They are the reason a recent graduate in Lagos has the confidence to enrol. They are the reason a mid-career manager in Cairo gets the guidance she needs to choose the right programme for her goals.
Without our Affiliate Centres, the rest of the model does not work. With them, it transforms lives.
"They are the bridge between a globally credible British qualification and a genuinely local student experience. "
- The Chestnut Education Group mission
What our Affiliate Centres actually do
When we describe what our Affiliate Centres contribute to the Chestnut model, four functions stand out above all others:
Where our Affiliate Centres operate
The Chestnut Affiliate Centre network spans four continents, with the deepest reach across three key regions:
The three-sided value chain
Our Affiliate Centres do not operate in isolation. They are one side of a three-sided value chain that makes the entire Chestnut model possible:
On the supply side, we maintain established partnerships with leading UK universities including the University of Law, Arden University, University of Central Lancashire, University of Derby, University of Leicester, University of Wolverhampton, and Anglia Ruskin University.
On the verticals, as an accredited centre of both Qualifi and EduQual, we sit at the intersection of academia and professional development — ensuring every qualification in our portfolio is credible, recognised, and genuinely valuable to the professionals who earn it.
And on the demand side — our Affiliate Centres. The human infrastructure that makes everything else matter.
This is not a franchise. It is a partnership.
We are deliberate about this distinction. Franchises are built on replication — a standard playbook, applied uniformly, regardless of context. Our Affiliate Centre model is built on the opposite principle: that local knowledge, local trust, and local relationships are irreplaceable assets that cannot be standardised.
Every Affiliate Centre we work with has been selected because they share our values, understand our model, and are genuinely committed to improving access to British higher education in their community. We do not work with everyone who applies. We work with the right partners.
The result is a network that feels local everywhere it operates — because it is.
The heartbeat of what we do
Over 10,000 students have already benefited from the Chestnut model. More than 6,000 have graduated with fully accredited British degrees. Behind every single one of those numbers is a moment of human connection — a conversation in a local office, a recommendation from a trusted advisor, a community event where someone first heard that a British degree was possible from home.
That is what our Affiliate Centres do. And that is why they are not just a part of what we do — they are the heartbeat of it.
