A UK MBA is built from 180 credits at Level 7 of the UK qualifications framework. A Level 7 diploma from a regulated UK awarding organisation — such as Qualifi, OTHM or EduQual — typically carries 120 of those credits
Through recognised prior learning, partner universities admit diploma holders directly into the final stage of the MBA. Depending on the university, that final stage is typically a dissertation, consultancy project or a small set of advanced modules. You complete the remaining credits — commonly the last 60 to 90, depending on the university’s structure — and the university awards its MBA.
