In honour of World Children’s Day on 1 October 2024, the Chestnut Foundation, the charitable arm of Chestnut Education, partnered with the Sri Lanka Army to donate school bags and essential supplies to underprivileged children. Entirely funded by Chestnut Education, this initiative reflects our mission to support children facing educational challenges by providing them with schoolbooks, uniforms, and vital equipment.
The Chestnut Foundation believes education is key to personal and community development. Yet, many disadvantaged children lack access to basic supplies, which can hinder their academic success. Our efforts focus on removing these barriers, giving children the resources they need to excel and build a brighter future.
Through such initiatives, the Chestnut Foundation strives to make a positive difference in the lives of children in need, ensuring every child has the opportunity for a quality education.
