At the heart of every thriving community is access to education — a value the Chestnut Foundation holds close. In a recent initiative aimed at nurturing early childhood education, a donation of school bags, books, and other essential learning materials was made to Shanmuga Preschool in Pumpugar, Ariyalai, Jaffna, Sri Lanka.
For many families in underserved communities, even the most basic school supplies can be out of reach. By equipping these young learners with the tools they need, this initiative not only eases the financial burden on families but also creates a positive and inclusive learning environment from the very start of their educational journey.
The Chestnut Foundation remains dedicated to creating equal educational opportunities for all children, regardless of their background. We believe that no child should be held back by circumstance, and that every student deserves the chance to learn, grow, and dream without obstacles.
