In February 2025, the Chestnut Foundation had the honour of supporting a special appreciation event for the talented students of Takshila Maha Vidyalaya, a remote school in Mahavilachchiya, Anuradhapura.
This event was a heartfelt celebration of the students’ achievements and hard work, recognising their commitment to learning despite the challenges of studying in an underserved community. The entire financial sponsorship for this event was provided by Chestnut Foundation, ensuring that these bright young minds receive the encouragement and motivation they deserve.
